what our clients say
"This is by far, the best airbnb we have ever stayed in The flat was stunning and is surrounded by the most beautiful garden. It had everything we needed and more. Sarah and Dave were fantastic hosts. So incredibly friendly and kind. The welcome basket was greatly appreciated - the homemade cookies and fudge were so delicious and such a lovely touch. We will definitely be returning!!" Sophie airbnb Oct 2023

about us
Sarah and Dave Hill have been converting their 1934's bungalow at the top of Polkirt Hill, Mevagissey since their return to England from France about 3 years ago. Sarah is of Welsh origin and Dave is from the Midlands. Sarah spent her employed life in the Hotel and Catering business running a number of establishments before the move to France where she was given the job of chef at their restaurant on the banks of the River Charente. Dave, a retired electro hydraulics engineer, took his own place as front of house! (a Basil Fawlty moment!)
Now, entirely at home in Mevagissey they plan to enjoy their newly converted house and host lots of guests and share their local knowledge.
