about us

Sarah and Dave Hill have been converting their 1934's bungalow at the top of Polkirt Hill, Mevagissey since their return to England from France about 5 years ago.  Sarah is of Welsh origin and Dave is from the Midlands. Sarah spent her employed life in the Hotel and Catering business running a number of  establishments before the move to France where she was given the challenging job of Chef at their restaurant on the banks of the River Charente. Dave, a retired electro hydraulics engineer, took his own place as front of house! (a Basil Fawlty moment!)

Now, entirely at home in Mevagissey they plan to enjoy their newly converted house and host lots of guests and share their local knowledge.
